In October 2000, Margaret came across a park near Insa-dong in Seoul. It seemed to be
the place for middle-age and older Korean men to play paduk, socialize, and even get
haircuts. This man was executing Chinese characters in calligraphy on newspaper, apparently just for his own enjoyment and others'. Read more about the trip to Seoul in Margaret's Journal entry for October, 2000.
