Mrs. Lee was (and is) Margaret's best friend in Korea. Her husband is the founder of
Best Language Institute,
and his sister is Mrs. Kim, the institute's current director. While Margaret was in Korea, Mrs. Lee helped her countless times as translator and guide for difficult situations (she helped Margaret arrange telephone service, for example). Although she was born in Korea, Mrs. Lee is an American citizen, and lived in the US for 23 years.
